Description and more images:

Each design has been carefully constructed to show intricate details found on the actual buildings in the park and has been designed so that it can be displayed individually or removed from its base and connected to other buildings in the series. “Sleeping Beauty Castle” is the first design to be offered from the collection and it will include many special features, such as a removable turret that reveals Sleeping Beauty and the Prince, a hidden Mickey as well as the ability to light up. This unique hand-painted piece has been created from approximately 147 different parts, consisting of pewter, bronze, brass and resin.

For the first year of each piece released, each building will feature a special “first edition” marking. In addition, Guests who purchased the sculpture on the day of the debut event on December 14th, 2002 received a special “premiere button” which was set on the base. The Main Street, U.S.A. Collection is scheduled to continue through 2005 and will feature additional buildings, miniature Disney Characters, Guests, Cast Members and other accessories, in "Z" (1/220th) scale.
